Best dive-season / How to get there: Wraysbury Lake is London's premiere inland dive site, it is very conveniently situated between junctions 13 and 14 of the M25, close to the M3 and M4 motorways. It is accessible at only 6 pounds a day and open between 9 and 5 pm.Wraysbury is a 15-acre lake with diving being its main purpose used by several dive schools for their training. It also makes an ideal inland dive site when sea conditions do not permit diving. Wraysbury is a very well controlled site and has a great bunch of staff on hand that makes the whole experience of diving here very friendly and welcome.
There are many platforms to carry out dive skills. But there are many other attractions like: Thorpe Park Rangers, cars, boats, slot machine, statue and an American Cab. The fishlife is amazing; they have large mirror and common carp, perch, tench and pike, all of which are very friendly.
Hot tea, coffee, chocolate and other drinks are available from the hatch including superb sandwiches with sausages, bacon, eggs etc, all at very reasonable prices. There are inside and outside tables and chairs to sit comfortably through the day. There even is a bar for after diving drinks.
